Getting here
Here are the easiest ways to reach the harbour before continuing on to the island.
There is a direct train from Copenhagen Central Station to Nykøbing F. It is the closest station to the island.
Tickets are often very cheap if bought ahead of time through DSB Orange. Orange tickets are tied to a specific departure, so check the conditions before buying.
Seat reservations are not possible on this train, so seating is first come, first served.
If you are driving, please use the parking area near the harbour.
Please do not drive all the way to the end of the road. There are only a limited number of parking spaces there.
The harbour area is about 5 km from Nykøbing F Station.
Weekdays: Take route 742 from Nykøbing Falster St. (Brovejen) and get off at Hasseløvej 119 (Hasseløvej). The destination at Hasseløvej 129 is about a 1 km walk from this stop.
Weekends: Route 742 is not currently shown as operating. Route 740 is the weekend alternative, but get off at Hasseløvej (Prinsholmvej); this stop is farther from the parking area and requires a longer walk.

For the return journey, take route 740 from Hasseløvej (Prinsholmvej) towards Nykøbing Falster St. on weekends. On weekdays, route 742 serves the closer stop at Hasseløvej 119.
Because the return times and stop names vary by date, use the Rejseplanen link above and search from the relevant Hasseløvej stop to Nykøbing Falster St. Allow at least 15 minutes to walk from Hasseløvej 129 to the 740 stop.
From Nykøbing Falster St., direct trains continue to Copenhagen Central Station.
